These samples are but a small selection of the various writing, editing, design, and special projects that I have completed.  

The examples  below indicate my experience and knowledge in areas ranging from international development, social issues, medical science and health, labour, agriculture, and policy issues. My portfolio includes policy briefings, magazine articles, media releases, books, podcasts, and beyond.  For larger projects that I have coordinated, directing creative has been a fun part of the work since I have been able to source designers and producers. Over time,  I have worked alongside some of the best in the industry.

Publications

The Currency Transaction Tax – An idea whose time has come. Global problems require bold solutions and the Currency Transaction Tax (CTT) is one such innovative idea. It proposes a small levy on foreign exchange transactions, using the money raised to finance development projects for the global public good.

Carold Institute brochure – This brochure was completed to encourage the work in adult education and civic engagement undertaken by The Carold Institute. Coordination included acting as production manager and editor, working with designers and copywriters, as well as volunteer board members. As a francophone, I was pleased to bring my French language skills into play to create a bilingual brochure.

The Canadian Development Report – I produced this book annually for The North-South Institute. As managing editor I worked with authors from around the globe, translators, copyeditors and designers to bring important ideas related to international development to a general public. In this particular edition I was also a contributing author, writing the first chapter on the right to health.
